MoveFWD is designed to holistically meet the varied needs of potential candidates and prepare you for the workforce.
Customer Service/Call Center Training is ongoing at Austin Community College Highland Campus (October 1-23, 2018). This 17-day, 100-hour training program will prepare candidates for employment in the customer service field, setting them apart from the competition as job-ready. Upon course completion, interview opportunities with our local employment partner, Cofiroute USA, are available. Customer Service Representative positions start at $14.00/hour or more depending on skills and experience. Additional training programs will be scheduled for the near future.
Construction Training: Austin Community College (ACC) has been training candidates for a wide variety of jobs for many years. As our training partner, ACC is bringing their vast resources to work with you. Scholarship and grant opportunities are available for those who qualify. Talk to your case manager about further exploring this possibility.

Case Management & Social Services:
Our collaborative partners have extensive experience providing a wide range of services to clients and helping prepare job candidates for long-term careers. Each candidate will be assigned a case manager to help assess needs and identify training gaps so that every candidate is in their best position when applying for jobs. Recognizing that each candidate has unique needs, case managers will provide guidance and assistance with even the most basic needs such as housing, food, clothing, and transportation to job interviews and work. Interpersonal skills training in areas such as job applications and resumes, interviewing, time management, and money management will also be provided.
